The South Central Virginia Nurses Honor Guard provides meaningful tributes that honor nurses throughout every stage of their journey—from the beginning of their nursing career to their final farewell.
Our members perform each tribute in full Honor Guard uniform, including traditional nursing attire, to provide a dignified and respectful presence that reflects the heritage, values, and legacy of the nursing profession.
As a service to our nursing community, these tributes are offered as a gift of service and provided at no cost to the families, facilities, and organizations we are honored to serve.
Our tributes are organized into two categories—Memorial Tributes and Celebration Tributes—to honor nurses both in remembrance and throughout their lives.
We remember and honor nurses whose journey has come to an end, paying tribute to their nursing career, dedication to the profession, and lasting legacy of service.
We celebrate and recognize nurses throughout their lives, honoring their achievements, milestones, dedication, and lasting contributions to the nursing profession.
A dignified and respectful Nightingale Tribute incorporated into a nurse’s planned funeral, memorial service, celebration of life, or other service of remembrance. The Honor Guard honors the nurse’s professional journey by sharing their nursing education, career, dedication to the profession, and the lasting impact they made through their service to others.
